How do I view the Employee Report?

View an aggregated summary of working hours across multiple users

This article is for: Manager, Admin, Account owner

The Employee Report gives you an overview of multiple users' working hours in a single view. It uses the same layout as the Timesheet Report but shows only the summary row for each user, making it easy to compare totals across your team.

Open the Employee Report

Follow these steps

  1. Navigate to Reports > Employee in the side menu.
  2. Select the date range using the date picker.
  3. The report shows all users you have access to, with one summary row per user.

How it differs from the Timesheet Report

  • The Timesheet Report shows one row per day for a single user – useful for detailed daily analysis.
  • The Employee Report shows one summary row per user for the selected period – useful for comparing totals across the team.

Both reports share the same column structure (expected hours, total working hours, breaks, balance, premium pay, absences, violations).

Tip: Click on a user's row in the Employee Report to open their full Timesheet Report for the selected period.

Filter the report

You can narrow down the Employee Report by selecting specific users or adjusting the date range.

  1. Use the User selector to choose specific users.
  2. Use the Date picker to change the reporting period.
You now know how to open and filter the Employee Report in TimeTac to compare working hour totals across multiple users at a glance.
