How do I view the absence report?
Analyse and filter team absences in the report view

The absence report shows all absences across your team in a calendar-like overview. Filter by time period and users to analyse absence data effectively.
Open the absence report
Follow these steps
- Navigate to Reports in the side menu.
- Select Absences.
- The report displays the current month for your department by default.
Filter the report
Adjust the displayed data using the filter options:
- Time period: Select any time period using the date picker. Use the preset options for common periods such as "Current month" or "Current year".
- Users: Select individual users or entire departments to narrow down the results.
Read data in the report
The report displays absences as colour-coded blocks in a calendar grid. Each row represents a user, and each column represents a day.
- The colours correspond to the respective absence types (for example green for annual leave, red for sick leave).
- Click on an absence block to view the details in a dialog.
- The details include the absence type, duration, status, and the name of the approving manager.
Tip: Use the absence report for team holiday planning. This allows you to identify overlaps and avoid bottlenecks.
